His Lordship, Buster.
Buster Anderson was a gentleman. Although
as a pup he’d been mistreated, when he moved at about 6 months
old to where he was to spend the rest of his life, he was a nervous
wreck. Within months he’d started to settle down and at the age
of 3 (nearly) he ended up looking after an orphaned Yorkshire Terrior
puppy of 3 days old who was named Bonnie Mae. He continued to keep an
eye on her for the next 11 years until he passed on. His spirit lives
on in that his successor Leo, is looking after Bonnie’s Successor
Jess in exactly the same way.
I only knew Buster for the last couple of years of his life, but we did manage to get a few trips out to the sea side right up until just 3 days before he died.
These pages are my tribute to the pair of them.
