LNER A3 (originally A1) 4472 Flying Scotsman. Designed by Sir Nigel Gresley. The real one will
celebrate its centenary in 2023. This Hornby model is a little bit younger at 40. It was the first of
my new 2 rail stock received at Christmas in 1979 along with 5 Gresley Teak coaches. First of all
converted to Hornby Zero 1, then back to DC, and now running on DCC.
