A North East railway N1 class design acquired by LNER on grouping and designated class J72.
117 of these locos were built between 1898 and 1951. Used for shunting duties they were
scrapped between 1958 and 1964. One made it to preservation. This is a Mainline (now
bachmann) model with split chassis and has not yet been converted to DCC.
