BR Duchess Class 46251 “City Of Nottingham. One of the last of the Duchess class to be built It
wasn’t streamlined. Sir William Stanier always reckoned that even without the streamlining, this
class of locomotive would have beaten Mallard’s 126 MpH speed record. This is the loco for the
Hornby Night Mail set and came with 2 passenger coaches and the Travelling Post Office coach. It
is tender powered and not yet converted to DCC.
