The weather was better today, so we went up to the Jungfraujoch. After that we drove to Kandersteg and took the chairlift to the Oeschinensee and the Blumlisalp. As we walked down to the lake I was talking to Steve and we passed a party of school kids. One of the girls said something disparaging about English tourists, so I told her in German that I wasn’t English but Schweizer, pronounced Shweetzer. That shut her up. I thought that that had happened on a previous trip but Steve remembers it happening.
