Another non-driving day. I’d got some Kopeks, but they were notes only, and I wanted to investigate the city. With no change, I couldn’t buy tram tickets, and anyway, the whole of the tram system was being re-laid. So I thought I’d walk. I must have done over 10 miles, but walked over the King Charles bridge. Had an excellent Goulash lunch with 4 types of Dumplings. Then up the hill to Parliament Square and back to the hotel. I could barely lift my feet by the time I got back, but I had no problem raising a beer glass though. I had planned to go to České Budějovice to visit the brewery, but decided to head West as I was staying at my uncle Heini’s 2 nights later so found a hotel in Austria.
