After navigating Geneva I set off for Lausanne on my way to Basel. The hotel I was booked in there, I used to stay at in the 80’s and early 90’s when we used to go to Fasnacht. It had changed completely. Only the front looking anywhere like it used to. I found the car park which was now under the hotel and checked in. The room was superb. I did some shopping for wine, kirsch, Sausiccon Vauduios and of course added to my model railway collection..
