After a relaxing day, it was time to go back to the hotel in Austria that I’d stayed in on my previous trip. I had hped to do the Black Forest High road and visit the Rhine Falls near Schaffhausen, but my Sat-Nav threw a wobbly and I ended up back in the Rhine valley heading in the wrong direction. So I diverted via Stuttgart and entered Austria at the Eastern end of Lake Constance, traversed the Arlberg Pass and got to Nauders at 7 PM. Sitting at the bar after the meal, the owner realised that I’d been there before but couldn’t remember when. All I had to do was mention “KEY” and it all fell into place.
