HOLIDAY 2015 - THURSDAY 18th
I had arranged that today I was going to visit the Notaries in Annecy that were dealing with the passing on of my Father’s late brother Alex. They’d made the appointment for 3 O’xclock, which was a bit tight timing but at 3 exactly, I was trying to get into their car park. I think that they were surproised that I came to theirs, but as I was going to be in G4eneva that night, it was a lot cheaper, easier, and more fun than going to the French Embassy. Apart from getting lost in Annecy itself, and going the wrong way down a one way street becaused I’d missed a sign post, the journey was straightforward. I went via the Col du Fforclaz and I was at the motel in Annemasse Airport by 5. The first impression of the motel did not impress me, but the room was comfortable and the restaurant in the compound, La Papille, was excellent with perch fillets to die for.
