Day 9 A straightforward run along the South shore of the Lake of Geneva. Then up the Rhone valley to Aigle and over the Col Des Mosses (1,445 M, 4,741 Ft), the Jaun Pass (1509 M, 4951 Ft) and finally Basel and another of my favourite hotels, the Victoria in the Centralbahnplatz (Website: http://www.hotel-victoria-basel.ch/content/victoria/en.html). Another day which started off a bit cloudy, but became very hot. Having joined the A1 at Bern, coming out from a service station, I spotted a familiar car, the White Porsche with British plates from Yesterday. I ended up behind him, He did sound good going through the tunnels. As we approached Basel, he was heading off to Germany, but He gave me a wave and a laugh as I finally passed him. Having checked in to the hotel it was time to hit the shops.
