The second non driving day. In the morning shopping, and after lunch, I’ll continue my discovery of the tram lines of Basel. In the morning will be a bit more shopping.
There was a change of plan. I’d been looking for photos of the real Feldschlossen brewery and discovered that they did tours on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I got myself booked on the Wednesday tour and after a morning shopping, headed to Rheinfelden. Although there was a slight misunderstanding at the start, I thoroughly enjoyed the tour (with samples). The gallery above shows the photos I took. These included the E3/3 Tigerli locomtive that used to shunt the trucks, and a Deuschvaux (2CV) that has been fitted out with a cooler making it a mobile beer dispenser. In the evening back to the Brune Mutz for Schnatzlets (Diced pork in a cream, wine and mushroom sauce) then a bit more shopping before an early night.
